Introduction:

As a Quality Assurance Engineer (m/f/d) at Peter Park, you'll play a vital role in maintaining the excellence of our products across all projects. Your responsibilities include crafting and executing test plans, developing automated test scripts, and conducting regression testing for web-based and backend applications. Your pivotal role ensures the consistent delivery of top-notch features and products to our customers.

Our Objectives and your Role:

• Cooperating with the development team to design and develop test plans with adequate or maximum test coverage and analyzing all functional and nonfunctional requirements
• Recommending appropriate automation frameworks, administering, maintaining and evaluating automation scripts and recommending changes, when needed
• Working with our engineering team on implementing various e2e testing scenarios
• Creating and implementing detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases, using automation solutions (tools)
• Experience in Frontend and Backend testing with the latest tools and industry best practices - Front-end web application test automation (e.g. Selenium WebDriver, Playwright) and REST API testing frameworks
• Solid knowledge of Docker and working experience with Kubernetes is a plus
• Analyzing and identifying the presence of any issue or defect in the system, escalating them if required and assisting all engineers in the validation and resolving of the issues and defects
• Reviewing bug reports from CRM and/or TechOps teams, analyzing and recommending the priority of such issues
• Being meticulous about documenting all test procedures as well as findings
• Proactively bringing potential issues and problems to the attention of the team; generating, proposing and implementing innovative solutions to solve them
• Reporting on the results of test cycles, owning the process

Your Expertise, Skills & Mindset:

• 3+ years of overall engineering experience
• Solid understanding of software development web technology, IoT, cloud technology and SaaS
• Experienced with infrastructure projects (CI, CD processes)
• Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes
• Troubleshooting and critical thinking skills
• Knowledge of  testing methodologies and software development life cycle
• Experience with setting up and maintaining a local development environment
• Experience in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases
• Experience with automated testing frameworks such as Playwright, Storybook is a plus
• Experience working in Agile development processes
• Experience with performance and/or security testing is a plus
• Experience with JavaScript, Python and Flask are a plus
• Teamplayer - willing to share knowledge and learn
